.With some 25 years in the international CONSTRUCTION industry; "MIKE has a great deal to offer"; trained with the New Zealand Goverment and later working in the West Australian Iron Ore Mining Industry followed by 5 years in the Pulp & Paper industry. A licenced BUILDER, and "A" Certified ELECTRICAL & MECHANICAL in both N.Z and most states of AUSTRALIA . Worked as a self employed contractor in INDONESIA, THAILAND, N.Z. , AUSTRALIA and AFGHANISTAN . Involved in the rebuild of the south west of Thailand after the TSUNAMI in 2004. In West Australia , took over responsibility for the Electrical installation of the Casuarina Prison (some $15,000,000 Electrical) for the liquidator after the failure of the original contracting company. Employed and controlled some 100 tradesmen and labourers and subcontractors.

Operated own Construction & Electrical contracting business in West Australia , Thailand & Indonesia with contracts up to $5,000,000 USD. Employing up to 60 tradesmen etc.
1984 – 1989 Woodchip/ Pulp+ Paper industry
Employed by W.A. Chip & Pulp company in West Australia supervising the maintenance and almost total rebuild of the plant conveyors , reclaimer etc.
1980 – 1984 Iron ore mining + processing
Employed by Hamersley Iron at Paraburdoo (West Australia), eventually as Electrical foreman in the “Plant” area supervising maintenance of reclaimers, crushers and conveyor systems.
